Puncak Alam is a township located in the state of Selangor, Malaysia. It was developed from a palm estate holding of Felda in the Bukit Cherakah area during the late 1990s Bukit Cherakah Development Sdn. Bhd. Later in 2001, Puncak Alam Housing Sdn. Bhd. took over as the principal developer. The township is divided into three phases: Phase 1 in the south (Section 1-6, but only Section 2 exists), Phase 2 in the middle (Seksyen 7-9), and Phase 3 in the north (Seksyen 12-13). The actual land parcel was subsequently apportioned and jointly developed with third-party developers, resulting in sub-townships in the area under new names and concepts (such as Alam Perdana, Alam Jaya, Sinar Alam, Ambang Suria, and Alam Suria), while the initially earmarked land area for Puncak Alam was significantly reduced in size. The area has since witnessed the emergence of new housing developments such as Eco Grandeur, LBS Alam Perdana, and Hillpark.
